  • When your child has diarrhea, continue with their regular diet and give them plenty of fluids.
  • Seek emergency care if your child is showing signs of dehydration and is not able to drink fluids, has severe abdominal pain, has blood in their stool, or has a fever and is less than 3 months of age.
